How often should I have professional cleaning? +
We recommend cleaning 2 times a year for most patients. High-risk individuals (smokers, diabetics, orthodontic appliance wearers) may need more frequent cleanings — every 3–4 months.
Is professional cleaning painful? +
Cleaning is generally comfortable. Patients with gingival sensitivity may feel slight discomfort in areas with subgingival tartar. We use topical local anaesthesia if necessary.
What is Air Flow and how does it work? +
